Birmingham Airport is just 1 mile from junction 6 off the M42 and has direct links to M6, M5, M40 and M1.The airport can be reached via the national rail and bus network with connections from Birmingham City Centre. Travellers using bus or rail need to ensure that for early morning flights or when returning late at night that connections will still be operating at these times. Obviously returning flights which are delayed can cause problems and travelling by car allows more flexibility with Birmingham airport on and off car parks open 24 hours a day.
