Edinburgh Airport
Location
Road access to the airport is easy from the two-level junction on the A8 midway between the Gogar and Newbridge roundabouts.
If approaching from the Edinburgh side join the A8 from the city bypass and carry on towards Glasgow. From the North and West you should join the A8 at the Newbridge roundabout and carry on towards Edinburgh. Follow signs for airport.
Terminal Facilities
Edinburgh Airport has all the usual facilities on hand.There is a self service check-in available to some passengers flying from the Airport.
There is a foreign currency pick up service.operated by Travelex or ICE which enables passengers to pre order their foreign currency and pick it up at the Airport.
Disabled passenger facilities include reserved seating, help points and wheelchair access.
There are also designated family rooms and facilities.

Hotels close to Edinburgh Airport
There are several good hotels near to the Airport. The Quality Hotel, which has an outstanding restaaurant"La Bonne Auberge" is situated 2 minutes away from the Airport, accessed by a courtesy mini bus.
THe Hilton Hotel is within the Airport boundaries and the Holiday Inn which is always a good choice is two miles away.

There are several cafes at the Airport, and several restaurants including The Seafood Bar and two Wetherspoons (before and after security).
The Best Western Edinburgh Capital is 3 miles away , which caters for most tastes, and there is always McDonalds, which is under a mile away from the Airport.
There are numerous other Bistros etc within a 6 mile drive.
